Last night I joined the Thursday night knit group at Haus of Yarn as we began Zimmerman's Baby Surprise Jacket...fun and since it does not yet look anything like a jacket....an adventure. Yarn is Katia Bombay...love working with it so far....

And so it begins
Well, here I am...out here in what feels like everywhere when you hit PUBLISH. I hope to share adventures and projects....photos and thoughts...and of course, food and wine.

Great colors. Can't wait to see the finished piece. And of course I love the maple leaf!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors! The yarn is spectacular. I tried knitting the surprise jacket...one side was perfect...the other...uh...er...we don't talk about the other side. :)
ReplyDeleteThis yarn is amazing. So far it looks good....and the first side does look good. I'm now working on the second, so we'll see. I think the striping will be great when it's finished.
